We all know a pack rat or two.  You know the type – those who discarding anything would be a kin to cutting off a finger; keeping everything in case "I might need it," insisting that the treadmill that hasn’t been used in 3 years is still useful ( j/k P.A. 🙂 )and I could go on and on, but I digress…

While I was getting out of my car this evening at the grocery store, a women waited patiently for me to get out of her way, which would allow here to pull through and enable her to exit her parking spot without going in reverse.  Something caught my eye.  I hurried through the store hoping that her car would still be there when I returned to my parking spot.   Now you get to see what I saw.   A mobile pack rat!  Wonder what her house must look like?

Mentioned Lisa & I met Abi for the first time.  Did you really think I was going to leave it at that?  Of course not.  Abi is such a great girl and we are so happy for Brent & Keva!  We got to hang out with Abi until we went to the Braves game.  Then on Saturday Keva’s mom, Mary Dean, had a party for Abi at her house.  Fantastic time had by all.  Plenty to eat (emphasize plenty), swimming, and a few Georgia Tech and UGA [sic] jokes.  Here are our pictures from our time with Abi and family…

For the last seven years Lisa & I have spent the 4th of July in Atlanta – running the Peachtree Road Race and spending time with Family.   This year was especially great since it was the first time we met the newest addition to the Yurtkuran family – Abi.  The 4th was packed!  Began with Lisa, Jeff, Eric & Erol running the Peachtree and wrapping up with a great time at the Braves game (Braves Won!), with plenty of eating and a few naps in between.  Here are the pictures from our trip…Enjoy.

Yes, I was a Braves fan through the rotten years.  Spent many a night at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium with less than 5000 people in the stands.  So when the headlines read “First Place” I had no choice but to preserve the paper, which I’m sharing with you.  Enjoy.
